Dabo Swinney is like millions of Americans across the country who are wanting to vote in the 2024 Presidential election. However, when he went to the polls today in South Carolina, he was denied.
The Clemson coach made a joke about it, saying it must have been because of the loss to Louisville last week.
“They done voted me out of the state,” Swinney said. “We’re 6-2 and 5-1 man. They done shipped me off.”

While fans are frustrated in the loss last week, it Swinney went on to say it was a mistake and that his son Will’s vote actually counted for Dabo’s. Both have the first name William.
Swinney says he wasn’t allowed to vote this morning…went in, the only person there, and was told he can’t vote. Turns out there was a misunderstanding and they counted his son Will as Dabo’s vote. Now there has to be a hearing Friday

Clemson was able to get 31 first downs and have 450 yards of offense in the 33-21 loss to Louisville, but there were mistakes that really hurt the Tigers.
They had 2 kicks blocked, and they got stopped on a 4th and 1 from its own 34-yard line.
The loss took Clemson out of being able to control its own destiny to the ACC Championship game and potentially a College Football Playoff berth. The Tigers entered last week as 1 of the 4 undefeated teams in the ACC, but now will need help to make the conference title.
They will be back in action next week as they travel to Blacksburg to take on the Virginia Tech Hokies.
