Clemson did what most expected it to do on Monday night in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta, pulling away from Georgia Tech in the fourth quarter for a business-like 41-10 victory to take its first step to another College Football Playoff.

The on-field stuff went according to plan. But what happened in the stands provided the surprise of the night, as 2 passionate ACC football fans got a little too passionate for their own good and were seen punching each other while getting more attention from those in their section and the surrounding sections than whatever was happening between the Tigers and Yellow Jackets.

A Clemson fan traded punches with a guy in a black hoodie who looked a lot younger than him. The Clemson fan got the early advantage before the other guy, or kid, in the hoodie fought back and seemed to get the better of the blows. The guy in the hoodie showed a bit more resiliency than the Yellow Jackets, who faded in the 4th quarter after only trailing 24-10 at the end of the 3rd.

The two fans were ultimately separated, which might have come just in time for that suddenly stung Clemson fan. Unfortunately, they missed part of a great performance from the Tigers in order to fight.
