Known for his prowess at developing linebackers, Jancek’s coached defense at Central Michigan, Georgia and Cincinnati since leaving his alma-mater, Grand Valley State, as the Lakers’ defensive coordinator from 1999-02. Jancek arrived at Tennessee in 2013 to help reverse the fortunes on defense at one of the SEC’s most storied programs and partner with former Chippewa colleague Butch Jones.
