Mike Bajakian
Bajakian’s made a living dissecting the quarterback position, working as an offensive assistant since his first gig at Delbarton School in 1906. After numerous years as a grad assistant and quarterbacks coach that included stops at Michigan and Central Michigan, Bajakian worked his way into an NFL position with the Chicago Bears in 2004 as the franchise’s wide receivers and offensive quality control guru.
Bajakian helped call the plays for Butch Jones’ tenures at Central Michigan and Cincinnati after leaving the NFL in 2006. It was only right the two pair up again in 2013 when Jones got the job at Tennessee. According to a statistical analysis conducted by the Volunteers’ athletic department, Bajakian offenses have scored 30-plus points in 55 percent of his career games.
