Randy Shannon
Randy Shannon was promoted to defensive coordinator from his post of defensive backs coach at the University of Florida following the Gators’ win in the 2017 Outback Bowl.
A three-time national champion as a player and coach, Shannon arrived at Arkansas in 2013 as the Razorbacks’ linebackers coach before being promoted to senior associate head the following season. Shannon coached linebackers at TCU in 2012 following a four-year stint as head coach at Miami where he previously worked as the Hurricanes’ defensive coordinator during the program’s elite years in the early 2000s.
