The 2023 SEC baseball tournament is set to begin on Tuesday at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium, and all games will be on SEC Network.

As the tournament gets underway, plenty of storylines abound, starting with LSU’s 2 mega stars, including Player of the Year Dylan Crews, who is hitting .423 with a 59-game on-base streak. Paul Skenes is the only SEC pitcher with an ERA under 2.00. Meanwhile, Florida’s Jac Caglianone leads the nation with 28 homers, and Vanderbilt’s Enrique Bradfield is the Division I active career leader in stolen bases with 127.

In the first game, the Gamecocks are the 6th seed in the tournament and will face 11th-seeded Georgia in Tuesday’s single-elimination game. The Gamecocks are coming off winning one of 3 games against Tennessee last weekend.

The Bulldogs won the series finale against LSU to close out the regular season. Charlie Condon leads the Bulldogs with a .393 batting average and has 25 home runs, a new SEC freshman record.
