The 2022 NBA Draft is just over a week away, as it will take place in Brooklyn on Thursday, June 23.

Several players projected to go in Round 1 will be in attendance for the event, with their family and coaches and friends set up in the green room waiting for their names to be called.

Per NBA insider Jonathan Givony, 16 players have been invited to attend the festivities, including 2 — Auburn’s Jabari Smith Jr. and Kentucky’s Shaedon Sharpe — from the SEC:

Smith and Sharpe are both considered locks to go in the top 10, with Smith in the mix for the No. 1 overall pick.

Tari Eason (LSU), TyTy Washington (Kentucky), Kennedy Chandler (Tennessee) and Walker Kessler (Auburn) are also in the first-round mix out of the SEC.
