The 2021 NBA Draft will be held on July 29. Players still have a couple of weeks to make their final draft decisions, so that’ll be something worth monitoring moving forward.

Recently, CBS Sports analyst Gary Parrish put together his mock draft projections, and he had 7 SEC stars going in Round 1.

Interestingly, as you can see below, he has those 7 SEC standouts going in 7 consecutive picks, from pick No. 9 to pick No. 15:

  • No. 9 — Moses Moody, G, Arkansas — Toronto Raptors
  • No. 10 — Keon Johnson, G, Tennessee — Orlando Magic
  • No. 11 — Tre Mann, G, Florida — New Orleans Pelicans
  • No. 12 — Isaiah Jackson, F, Kentucky — Indiana Pacers
  • No. 13 — Jaden Springer, G, Tennessee — San Antonio Spurs
  • No. 14 — Cam Thomas, G, LSU — Golden State Warriors
  • No. 15 — Sharife Cooper, G, Auburn — Charlotte Hornets

Tennessee is the only SEC school with multiple first-round picks in Parrish’s projections. But, we’ll see if any other SEC players can work their way into the Round 1 mix moving forward.
