Allen Flanigan revealed he will be transferring to Ole Miss next season to continue his college basketball career. In doing so, Flanigan removed his name from the 2023 NBA Draft after testing the waters.
Flanigan will join his father, Wes Flanigan, who recently accepted an assistant position under newly-hired head coach Chris Beard in Oxford.

Ole Miss has been silently loading up in the transfer portal since Beard arrived. Flanigan is the 5th transfer commitment of the offseason for the Rebels, joining OK State’s Moussa Cisse, Georgetown’s Brandon Murray, Western Kentucky’s Jamarion Sharp and Arizona State’s Austin Nunez. Flanigan’s combination with returning wing Matthew Murrell could prove to be dangerous, too.
Flanigan started 19 games for the Tigers last season, averaging 10.1 points and 5 rebounds per game. 2023-24 will be his final season in college basketball barring injury.
