The Cleveland Cavaliers have a couple of talented former SEC stars in their backcourt — ex-Alabama guard Collin Sexton and ex-Vanderbilt guard Darius Garland.

They’re both key parts of what the Cavaliers are doing this season, and they connected on an incredible play on Monday night.

As you can see below, Garland throws an absolute bullet of a bounce pass through the Detroit Pistons’ defense to hit Sexton for an easy fast-break layup:

That’s the sort of play you’ll see on highlight reels for a long time to come. Now, we’ll see if they can start to help the Cavs win more games.

Cleveland entered Monday night’s game with a 20-36 overall record. The Pistons have been even worse this year, sporting an Eastern Conference-worst 17-40 overall record. The game is currently tied 94-94 late in the fourth quarter.
