An emotional Dick Vitale made his return to ESPN on Tuesday night.

Vitale is back in the booth after starting cancer treatment. He’s in Las Vegas for No. 1 Gonzaga vs. No. 2 UCLA in the Good Sam Empire Classic.

Vitale was away from the booth after being diagnosed with lymphoma in October. A few days ago, Vitale announced that his doctor gave him the green light to return to broadcasting after starting his 6 months of chemotherapy. In August, Vitale revealed he had melanoma surgically removed.

This is Vitale’s 43rd season at ESPN. Welcome back, Dickie V!
