Dog poops on court during halftime show, perfectly summing up Louisville's season
Dogs catching frisbees is a popular halftime show during basketball games, whether they be college matchups or games in the pro ranks.
Even when your team is the Louisville Cardinals, who are stuck in the midst of an awful 2022-23 campaign that currently sees them with a 4-26 overall record and a 2-17 mark in ACC play, fans must be entertained during the intermission.
Well, fans got more than they bargained for on Tuesday night, as the frisbee-catching dog decided it couldn’t hold it anymore and pooped on the court:

That was a fitting summation of both Tuesday night’s game (a 71-54 loss to Virginia Tech) and the season for Louisville.
Louisville finishes the regular season on the road at Virginia, then will enter the ACC basketball tournament as the No. 15 seed, the worst in the conference. At least that dog provided more entertainment on Tuesday night than the team on the court has for most of the year.
In a move coaches everywhere will love, he passed up the three for a two.
Most memorable shot of the season.
(Play appropriately-named “rimshot” on drum)
This could have easily applied to UGA’s season as well.
Now there’s headline!
It’s hard to hate UofL nowadays, since Kenny Payne is now the coach. I think they will be contenders again in a few years. But the symbolic value of this dog’s actions is funny as heck. Yes, it has been that kind of year at UofL. ‘Could’ have gone this way in Lexington, also, but we seem to have gotten back on track.
