Air Force unveils incredible alternate uniforms honoring Air Force Special Ops Command
Air Force is getting a jumpstart on the uniform battle for the 2024 season, unveiling a combination that is bound to be in the mix to be the top alternate threads of the entire season.
On Tuesday, the service academy released an in-depth look at a uniform honoring the Air Force’s Special Ops Command. According to the Air Force’s press release, AFSOC “is always ready to answer our nation’s call and provide forces for worldwide deployment.”
AFSOC has a rich 30-year history with a legacy of Air Commandos who have excelled in missions globally while epitomizing resilience, leadership and teamwork. The uniforms, detailed in the video below, will be worn on Oct. 5 in a home game against Navy.

The details in these uniforms are extensive and brilliant, all the way down to the front bumper of the helmets that read “FIRST THERE,” the combat control motto. The rear bumpers will feature 1 of 3 parts of the AFSOC motto: Any place, any time, or anywhere.
The artwork on the helmets is one of the best pieces of the entire combination, featuring the winged dagger insignia of AFSOC. The winged dagger represents swift and silent mobilization of forces.

The left shoulder of the uniform will also showcase 1 of 3 different badges representative of Air Force Special Tactics. Scarlet accents, an AFSOC name plate and the AFSOC dagger down the side of the pants are some of the other key details here.

The service academies always come through with some of the best uniforms around, and this is no different. Air Force hit this one out of the park with an awesome way to honor AFSOC in a rivalry showdown vs. Navy.
Cool uni. I have some suggestions for future alternates:
Air Force-Abandoned Afghani interpreter falling from the landing gear of a C47
Army-taliban driving around in an abandoned MRAP
Navy-The $230M Gaza pier sinking into the Mediterranean
We can call it the B1den DEI collection
