Anthony Hill Jr. has received scholarship offers from all over the country as a 5-star recruit. Hill visited Alabama, Miami, Oklahoma and USC, but the 5-star linebacker from Denton, Texas won’t be leaving the Lone Star State to play college football.

It’s down to Texas and Texas A&M, Hill revealed Wednesday on his Twitter account. The rival in-state programs have both had some major wins on the recruiting trail in the past few months. In February, Texas A&M completed the highest-rated recruiting class of all time. Texas currently has the No. 2 class for 2023, including a trio of 5-stars led by No. 1 prospect Arch Manning.

Out of Ryan High School, Hill is listed at 6-2, 225 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, he is rated 5-stars, the No. 1 linebacker, No. 2 Lone Star State recruit and No. 14 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023.
