Bowl game announces winning head coach will receive ‘egg nog bath’

Part of a big win in college football is pouring the cooler on the head coach. During the regular season, coaches get soaked in Gatorade or Powerade. In Bowl Season, however, things get a bit wacky.
The Duke’s Mayo Bowl has the “mayo bath.” The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl has the winning team pour a tub of french fries all over the head coach. The Holiday Bowl found a way to get in on the fun.
The San Diego-based bowl game recently asked fans what kind of postgame “bath” they wanted to see. Egg nog won the poll going away, beating out sunscreen, beach sand and mini tacos. The Holiday Bowl is giving fans what they want to see.

Ok, we really want to dump something on the winning coach – what should it be?

Wednesday’s game between No. 15 Louisville and USC is set for 8 p.m. ET on FOX. We’ll see if Jeff Brohm or Lincoln Riley gets the celebratory nog bath.
