Everyone has their own favorite holiday tradition, from trimming the tree and carolers to drinking egg nog and family get-togethers.

For college football fans, however, there’s no tradition more beloved than gathering around the television to watch bowl games.

Even with the introduction of a 12-team national championship Playoff, the bowls have maintained their popularity among fans who can’t get enough of their favorite sport through the month of December and beyond, with coaches who love the extra practice time bowls give their teams and of course, the television network that owns the rights to most of the games.

The 2025-26 bowl schedule features 41 games, including 6 that are part of the College Football Playoff.
