BYU fan uses plane to paint incredible radar message ahead of Week 4 vs. Kansas

This isn’t SEC football, but it’s far too good not to share.
A BYU fan in Washington state has recently been putting his pilot’s license to use for an unusual reason. The pilot has been using his plane’s flight path to “paint” pictures on radar, voicing support of BYU football with the Cougars’ logo and a message off to the side that reads “Beat Kansas.”
This isn’t a new thing, either. Capt. Butter, as he’s called on his X (Twitter) account, has apparently been doing this since Week 1 when BYU took on Sam Houston State. He did it last week prior to BYU’s 38-31 win over the Razorbacks.
Here’s his most recent flight. This has to get expensive, right?
Looks like a pilot in Washington is a big @BYU fan. https://t.co/RlmHa5LP60 pic.twitter.com/F1Wu315OfF

Here’s the fan’s timelapse of last week’s attempt:
I guess this is a thing now.

Well, BYU is 3-0 after all. The Cougars have beaten Sam Houston State, Southern Utah and Arkansas last week with its Big 12 debut against Kansas on the docket for Week 4.
