Chris Rock is a well-known Jets fan, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.

The famous comedian knows New York is struggling this year, and Aaron Rodgers only has so many seasons left under his belt once (if) he finally makes it back to the field following an Achilles injury.

So why not build for the future? In a truly hilarious video released this week, Rock was seen “recruiting” USC Trojans star QB Caleb Williams to New York.

Check it out:

Of course, Williams only has so much say in where he’ll end up, though it’s likely to be high in the 2024 NFL draft.

Williams’ Trojans have struggled against the top of the Pac-12 and Williams is not having the year he had in 2022, but the Trojans’ problems are hardly due to the Heisman winner’s play. He’s sitting at 3,249 passing yards with 29 touchdowns and 4 interceptions this year.

And if the season ended today, New York would not be in a position to draft Williams without trading up.

Sorry, Rock.
