College football fans everywhere were disappointed by the lack of football on Christmas Eve (due to the Hawaii Bowl’s last-minute cancelation), but there is football on Christmas Day.
There is one bowl game, the Camellia Bowl, being played Saturday. The Montgomery, Alabama-based bowl game features Georgia State vs. Ball State.
Georgia State enters the game with a 7-5 record, on a 3-game winning streak, notching wins in 4 of its last 5 games. Ball State, meanwhile, is 6-6 on the year after dropping 3 of its last 5. Both teams won their regular-season finales.
ESPN’s FPI gives Georgia State, the betting favorite, a 56 percent chance of winning the game.
Saturday’s game is set for 2:30 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN.
