The college football coaching carousel is already in full swing this year, and now we can reportedly add another opening to the mix.
Per college football insider Brett McMurphy of the Action Network, Charlotte has parted ways with head coach Will Healy.
The 49ers started the 2022 season 1-7 and Healy has a disappointing 15-24 overall record during his 4 seasons at the helm of the Charlotte program:

Healy coached at Austin Peay before taking the Charlotte job prior to the 2019 season. He is only 37 years old, so he figures to have a long career ahead of him in the coaching ranks.
He led the 49ers to a 7-6 record in 2019, losing in the Bahamas Bowl.
