Published:

The College Football Playoff Rankings show will have a different time on Tuesday, November 9.

Instead of the normal show schedule start of 7 p.m. ET, it will be broadcast on ESPN at approximately 9 p.m. ET and last approximately 30 minutes. The State Farm Champions Classic doubleheader at Madison Square Garden is the reason for the change.

No. 3 Kansas plays Michigan State at 7 p.m. ET; so, the rankings reveal show will take place in between the first game and the second featuring No. 10 Kentucky vs. No. 9 Duke.

College Football Playoff Rankings Show Schedule

Tuesday, November 9 will be the only 9 p.m. ET reveal of the show’s season. For the remainder of the college football season, the reveal show will take place at 7 p.m. ET. However, the final selection show will be revealed on Sunday, December 5 at 12 p.m. ET.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesday, November 16: 7-8 p.m. ET
  • Tuesday, November 23: 7-8 p.m. ET
  • Tuesday, November 30: 7-7:30 p.m. ET
  • Sunday, December 5: 12-4 p.m. ET

The College Football Playoff describes the selection committee on its website as follows.

A dedicated group of high-integrity football experts, with experience as coaches, student-athletes, college administrators and journalists, along with sitting athletics directors, comprise the selection committee. Members of the selection committee are Mitch Barnhart, Gary Barta (chair), Paola Boivin, Tom Burman, Charlie Cobb, Boo Corrigan, Rick George, Will Shields, Gene Taylor, Joe Taylor, John Urschel, Rod West and Tyrone Willingham.

It will interesting to see how the selection committee ranks the teams Tuesday night. Here’s how we think the committee will rank the top 25.
