Big news out of the Pac-12: Nick Rolovich is reportedly out as Washington State head coach.

John Canzano of The Oregonian reports, per a WSU source, Rolovich and other WSU assistants have been terminated for cause.

Rolovich’s status has been uncertain much of the 2021 season, as Washington state requires all secondary and higher education personnel to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by Oct. 18. Rolovich was seeking a religious exemption to not get vaccinated.

Rolovich was in his second season at WSU. The Cougars are 4-3 this season. Rolovich is 33-33 as a head coach in his time at Hawaii (28-27) and Washington State (5-6).

WSU defeated Stanford 34-31 on Saturday.
