The official college football rankings — AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll — won’t come out until Tuesday due to Ole Miss and Louisville playing Monday night.

However, ESPN’s Football Power Index updated its top 25 teams following the first Week 1 Saturday.

The Alabama Crimson Tide remain No. 1 after smoking Miami 44-13. Clemson, amazingly, stayed at No. 2 after losing 10-3 to Georgia, and the Bulldogs didn’t move up from No. 5 either. It’s likely that Georgia will jump to No. 2 in this week’s AP Top 25 Poll when it’s released due to Oklahoma’s struggles against Tulane.

All total, 7 SEC teams fall in the top 25, including Ole Miss — who will play Monday night without head coach Lane Kiffin against Louisville. Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M, Florida and Auburn are all ranked inside the top 10, according to the FPI.
