College football’s Week 1 kickoff is officially here!

However, you’ll have to wait until Saturday for a ranked-vs-ranked Week 1 game.

Sixteen games happen on Thursday night, including 2 from the SEC. Headlining Thursday night is long-time rivals West Virginia and No. 17 Pittsburgh in the Backyard Brawl. Pitt leads the series 61-40-3.

From the SEC, Tennessee hosts Ball State, while Missouri hosts Louisiana Tech. The Volunteers are favored by 35 points against the Cardinals, and it could get ugly for Ball State. Mizzou is a 19-point favorite over the Bulldogs. All eyes are on Missouri’s 5-star freshman wide receiver Luther Burden.
