College GameDay surprised everyone with its pick to go to the Red River Rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas over the Penn State at Iowa showdown. Fans weren’t happy about it either.
The Nittany Lions and Hawkeyes are potentially playing for a Playoff spot Saturday. Instead, the premier pregame show will attend a future SEC rivalry between the Sooners and Longhorns.
Oklahoma is still in the College Football Playoff hunt, and technically, Texas is too. The Sooners are still undefeated, and Texas has the one loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks.
During Saturday morning’s broadcast, College GameDay announced that Mark Cuban will be the guest picker. Cuban, of course, is the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks.
