Next summer, EA Sports is set to release the first edition of its popular “NCAA Football” series since 2013. And for fans expecting to see some of the country’s top college football players within the game, they received some good news on Monday.

The Brandr Group handles licensing deals for a host of schools around the country, and on Monday it announced that it would explore strategies to allow for possible NIL opportunities within video games. That could open the door for increased compensation for players that make appearances in games like “NCAA Football”.

The Brandr Group has partnered with Orion Business Advisors to help it leverage those opportunities.

“I’m excited to help The Brandr Group navigate this ever-changing environment, forging the needed relationships to create opportunities that highlight a multitude of sports, financially benefit student-athletes and enable fans to play a game as their favorite player at their favorite school,” said Orion Business Advisors founder and CEO Paul Johnson, according to On3.

That’s sure to add further excitement to what’s already a highly-anticipated game relase.
