Former Hawaii standout, NCAA record-holder Colt Brennan has reportedly passed

Sad news to share as one of college football’s most prolific passers has reportedly passed.
Former Hawaii quarterback and NCAA record-holder Colt Brennan recently passed according to Hawaii News Now. Brennan was only 37 years old.
The cause of Brennan’s death has not been reported at this time.
During his three seasons at Hawaii, Brennan passed for 14,193 yards and 131 touchdowns playing for June Jones. He twice finished in the top six of Heisman Trophy voting, as he was voted 6th in 2006 and 3rd in 2007.
By the time his college career ended, Brennan held the NCAA’s all-time leading record for touchdown passes in a career (131) and the most in a single season (58) in 2006.
Former Houston QB Case Keenum surpassed Brennan’s career mark and is currently the record holder with 155 career touchdown passes. Joe Burrow broke Brennan’s single-season passing record by throwing 60 touchdowns in 2019.
