If you’ve been paying attention to the news from the Palmetto State, positive COVID-19 results have been increasing at a dramatic rate in the state of South Carolina in recent days and weeks.

The latest sign of that comes from Clemson as the school has discovered 28 positive cases of COVID-19 among the 315 tests administered in June. It’s important to note that 28 number does not mean 28 Clemson football players have tested positive, as this figure represents multiple sports as well as Clemson coaches and staffers.

While the number registered by Clemson is high, the good news is no one that has tested positive has required hospitalization and most of the people that have tested positive are asymptomatic.

Here is the official release from Clemson announcing the news on Friday.
