Deion Sanders responds on Twitter after SWAC Media Day drama

There was a bit of drama at the SWAC Media Day on Tuesday, as NFL legend and current Jackson State head coach Deion Sanders reportedly walked out of an interview when the reporter called him “Deion.”
Sanders said people don’t call Alabama coach Nick Saban “Nick” unless they want to get cussed out, which many reporters quickly took to Twitter to say was absolutely not true.
On Tuesday evening, Sanders took to Twitter to explain himself, saying he didn’t walk out. He ended one call and moved on to another:
Never walked out of media day. I prolonged my time to answer another question & the person thought it was cute to address me the way he did so I dropped the call & went to the next outlet. Please don’t allow a fool to fool u because then nobody would truly know who the fool is. https://t.co/csbTRNgJvd

That still doesn’t address his misinformation about what people call Nick Saban, but perhaps a followup tweet is coming.
