You know you’re doing something right when you start getting linked to the Texas job.

With the Longhorns off to a rough start in 2020 and Arkansas exceeding all expectations at 2-2 (almost 3-1) in Year 1 of the Sam Pittman era, one ESPN personality openly pondered on social media if the head Razorback might want to head southwest.

Bomani Jones tweeted that he wondered if Pittman would like life in Austin. While it’s quite the compliment four games into Pittman’s first season as an FBS head coach, Hogs fans probably don’t have to worry about the head coach leaving for the Lone Star State.

Since being hired as Chad Morris’ replacement, Pittman has frequently mentioned his attachment to UA and desire to eventually retire in the Natural State.

If Texas administrators start thinking like Jones, Pittman’s people might hit up Arkansas athletic director for a raise.
