Father of Ohio State player heads to Big Ten headquarters, demands answers
A bunch of Big Ten parents are upset, and they’re not going to take it anymore. Chief among them may be Randy Wade, father of Ohio State CB Shaun Wade.
Wade has booked a flight to Chicago from Orlando and hopes to speak with Big Ten leadership on Friday morning about the conference postponing the season. He has also implored other Big Ten parents to join him. Wade’s goal is to get more clarity from Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren about deciding to call off the season, and to make sure Warren has a parent’s viewpoint on the matter.
“I want a presence there,” he told Buckeye Scoop. “Bring attention to it so he can speak up. These letters and stuff like that, I just don’t think that’s comfortable. I think if we show up and make a bigger deal about it, make it uncomfortable, maybe he would at least talk and say something.”
