First big mistake of game leads to Notre Dame 7-0 lead over Georgia

It’s the first team of the year that Georgia has played with a pulse, and the Dawgs look a bit nervous in the first half.
Both teams have been trading blows, but it remained scoreless through the first quarter. Second quarter, however, was a different story.
Notre Dame punted to Georgia, and returner Tyler Simmons bobbled the catch and the Irish recovered. On fourth and goal, Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book threw the touchdown to Cole Kmet.
Just the way they drew it…alright, maybe not.
