Gus Malzahn comes to Cincinnati’s defense, compares Bearcats to past Alabama and Georgia squads

Depending on what team you root for, some people liked the College Football Playoff rankings, and some didn’t. Many fans of the Cincinnati Bearcats disagree with their No. 6 ranking.
As someone who played Cincinnati earlier in the season, UCF head coach Gus Malzahn believes that they should be ranked higher. Cincinnati beat UCF by a score of 56-21 in Week 6 of the regular season.
He even compared the Bearcats to what it’s like playing Alabama and Georgia ever year back when he was at Auburn.

The teams that are ahead of Cincinnati in the rankings are: No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Alabama, No. 3 Oregon, No. 4 Michigan State, and No. 5 Ohio State.
