James Franklin entered Week 10 with another shot to get the big-game monkey off his back. He will exit the weekend with the same age-old questions that have accompanied his tenure at Penn State.

On Saturday, the Nittany Lions hosted Ohio State in a top-5 matchup with all eyes on the head coaches. Franklin’s issues are well-documented, and Ryan Day is also juggling plenty of criticism after a loss to Oregon earlier in the season.

In this one, it was Day’s squad taking it to Penn State and shutting down the Nittany Lions offense in a 20-13 victory. The only touchdown Penn State scored on the day came on a pick-6 from the defense, and it leaves Franklin answering the same old questions he has had throughout.

With the loss, Franklin is now 1-10 all-time against Ohio State with the lone win coming during the 2016 season. He is also just 1-9 against top 5 teams overall and falls to 1-7 against top 10 teams at home.

Franklin’s latest flop sent social media firing on all cylinders as the head coach is still in search of a big-game breakthrough. Take a look:
