Kenny Dillingham had an incredible reaction to an ill-advised play made by running back Cam Skattebo on Saturday in the Big 12 Championship Game.

With the Sun Devils in the red zone, Skattebo took a direct snap and started moving to his left. However, it appeared to be a busted play — he didn’t have any option in the run game or through the air.

In an effort to avoid losing big yardage, Skattebo desperately heaved the ball into the end zone hoping it would fall incomplete. That turned out to be the case, but the ball hung up in the air for a very long time before harmlessly falling to the turf.

Immediately after the play ended, ABC’s broadcast panned to Dillingham, who was sporting a look of both bewilderment and anger. Here’s a clip of the whole ordeal:

Dillingham’s reaction immediately caught the attention of viewers from across the country who are tuned into the Big 12 Championship Game. Here’s some of the reaction:

The winner of this game is expected to advance to the College Football Playoff. It would be the first-ever CFP appearance for either Arizona State or Iowa State.
