Lee Corso isn’t a stranger to picking upsets; he makes them a lot with his headgear picks on College GameDay.

Corso and the College GameDay crew will be live Saturday morning from Atlanta ahead of the SEC Championship Game.

Kirk Herbstreit always does a video interview with Corso Saturday mornings before the pregame show starts, and this week, Corso picked 2 major upsets.

The longtime College GameDay show analyst first picked Alabama over Georgia in the SEC Championship Game.

“Roll Tide,” Corso said. “In an upset — Roll Tide. You know why? The most desperate team is Alabama. Georgia is going to the Playoff no matter what. Alabama needs a win to go.”

Should Alabama upset Georgia, 2 SEC teams would make the College Football Playoff.

Then, Corso dropped his “upset special” of the week — Houston over Cincinnati in the AAC Championship Game.

“Upset special of the week,” Corso told Herbstreit. “Houston shocks the world and beats Cincinnati at Cincinnati. They outscore them. You know the one interesting point? They’re (Houston) 6-0 on the road this year. They haven’t lost a road game yet. So, Houston over Bearcats — shock the world.”

Cincinnati, of course, has a College Football Playoff berth on the line, and Corso hasn’t agreed with the selection committee that the Bearcats should be a top 4 team. So, a Houston upset would be vindication for Corso.
