Things are going from bad to worse for Miami at home against Middle Tennessee.

The Hurricanes opened the 4th quarter with a 4th-and-goal play at the Blue Raiders 1-yard line with a chance to cut into a 31-17 deficit.

They were stopped, however, and on the very next play Middle Tennessee quarterback Chase Cunningham found DJ England-Chisolm streaking down the left sideline for a 99-yard touchdown.

The Blue Raiders took a 38-17 led with the score.

Game over, right?

Not quite. Miami bounced right back.

On the ensuing kick off, the Hurricanes Key’Shawn Smith went 91 yards for a touchdown that made it a game again, as Miami cut the deficit to 38-24.

It appears that it could be a wild finish in South Florida.
