One of the best traditions in college football is Oklahoma’s Sooner Schooner.

It’s a staple at The Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, but on Saturday, things took a turn for the worst.

The Sooner Schooner took a nasty fall while cutting a curve a little too sharp late in the second quarter against West Virginia. It appeared afterwards, though, that everyone was OK, including the horses, per reports in the stadium.

This was certainly a terrifying moment:

The Sooner Schooner made its first appearance during the 1964 game against Southern California.

Oklahoma is beating West Virginia 28-14 at halftime. Jalen Hurts has already scored three touchdowns.
