Paul Finebaum has been a fan of Mario Cristobal for a long time.

So it shouldn’t be a surprise that he sees bright things ahead for the Miami Hurricanes with Cristobal now pulling the strings.

The SEC Network/ESPN commentator didn’t go as far as calling an upset when the Hurricanes travel to Texas A&M in Week 3, but he hinted at it with this particular quote:

“I think they’re a major threat and a few weeks from now they go to Texas A&M and nobody is going to give them any chance,” Finebaum said in a story from On3. But they could shatter A&M’s bubble with a win there. Ultimately, I think Miami is coming back.”

Finebaum goes on to talk about how well Cristobal is recruiting at Miami and suggests that if he were still at Oregon, the Ducks would have put up a better effort against Georgia.

Let’s hear it. Do you think Cristobal is the right guy to bring “The U” back to national prominence.
