Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh faces a big year in 2019. Urban Meyer has retired from Ohio State, and many think this is the Wolverines’ best chance to win the Big Ten.

Harbaugh has been known to make waves with what he says, and he certainly did that this week.

While speaking on a podcast with The Athletic’s Tim Kawakami, Harbaugh said Meyer has been a winning coach, but has left controversy everywhere he’s been:

Those are some strong statements, even if he’s not wrong. You don’t usually see a coach call out another coach like that.

Meyer’s tenures at Florida and Ohio State did end in controversy, though, so Harbaugh is accurate. Will Meyer fire back?
