Stanford Steve joined the “Always College Football” podcast to discuss the upcoming National Championship Game between the Michigan Wolverines and Washington Huskies.

The college football analyst gave his betting advice for the much-anticipated matchup. Currently, the Wolverines are favored by 4.5 points and the over/under is at 56.5, according to ESPN BET.

“Everybody’s been talking about how Michigan hasn’t faced an offense like this, but I don’t think Washington has faced a defense like this,” Stanford Steve explained.

While the Huskies boast the No. 1 passing attack in the nation, the Wolverines have the No. 1 total defense. While the Huskies excel at throwing the ball, the team has just the No. 102 rushing attack.

“I do think Michigan can dictate what Washington does,” explained Steve. “I think they can make them one dimensional. I like Michigan.”

The analyst further stated that he would wait for more props to come out, and that he would rather take the moneyline than the 4.5 points. Steve also revealed that he like’s Blake Corum to get under 21.5 carries for the Wolverines. Other bets mentioned were the over receptions total for Jalen McMillan and the over yardage total for Colston Loveland.

The Wolverines and Huskies will kick off from NRG Stadium in Houston on Monday night at 7:30 p.m. ET.
