For the Texas football program, things just keep getting worse.

After losing at home to Kansas in overtime on Saturday night to fall to 4-6 on the season, 1st-year Longhorns coach Steve Sarkisian announced Monday that star running back Bijan Robinson will miss the remainder of the season with a dislocated elbow.

Robinson, a 6-foot, 214-pound sophomore, recorded 195 carries for 1,127 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. He also added 26 receptions for 295 yards and 4 TDs.

Texas’ loss to the Jayhawks on Saturday was its 5th consecutive defeat, the longest such streak that the program has suffered since 1956.

The Longhorns will look to end the skid at West Virginia on Saturday, a task that just became much taller without Robinson.
