There’s no other way to put it: The vaunted Michigan defense is getting absolutely cooked by Texas in the Big House.

As in, it hasn’t been pretty at all. Texas has dominated the line of scrimmage, rushing for 72 yards and 1 touchdown. Quinn Ewers (18-26, 202 yards 2 touchdowns) is torching the Wolverines secondary, especially in the 2nd quarter as Michigan begins to tire.

In fact, the Longhorns should arguably be up more. Texas missed an early field goal after driving the field on their first drive, and they had to settle for a field goal with just under 3 minutes remaining in the first half. Despite failing to deliver on a few trips to the red zone, Texas leads 24-3 in Ann Arbor at the half.

Obviously, this is far from ideal for a Michigan defense that was considered by many to be among the best in the country heading into the season. Many fans took to social media to destroy that notion on Saturday.
