UConn assistant provides the saddest moment of Week 1 in loss to Holy Cross

UConn hasn’t been good for years now. Head coach Randy Edsall’s overall record since taking over at UConn for his second stint is an abysmal 6-32.
The Huskies opted out of the 2020 season and are 0-2 this year. In Week 0, they were shut out at Fresno State. Then, on Saturday, they lost to FCS Holy Cross at home, 38-28.
How bad were things on the sideline? Well, when this UConn coach tried to get his players fired up, no one was buying what he was selling:
I've seen some real pathetic stuff as a UConn football fan. This is the lowest point. pic.twitter.com/e1EjNhNmtv

That’s just sad. Things have reached a dire point in Connecticut.
UConn plays at Vanderbilt on Saturday, Oct. 2. Both of those teams could enter with 0 wins at that point.
