West Virginia player levels own teammate looking to field punt, results in fumble

Can you call targeting if it happens between the same team?
Well, apparently not, because West Virginia just did a test run for us. The Mountaineers ended up muffing a punt because a West Virginia player leveled their punt returner just as he was set to field and Oklahoma State punt.
Of course, the Cowboys recovered in the middle of a huge moment in the game. Check out the madness below:

The Cowboys ended up taking a 27-24 lead just a few moments later:
