Deion Sanders rumors: Coach Prime addresses rumors linking him to Power 5 jobs

Coach Prime, head coach of Jackson State, has been in the rumor mill for several head coaching job this offseason. One of the latest is the connection to Colorado.
Prime says the report that the job was offered to him is true but there is no indication as to whether or not he has accepted it.
“Jackson State coach Deion Sanders does not deny that Colorado has offered him the head coaching job along with other offers,” one journalist reported. “But Sanders, without saying whether or not he has accepted the job, says his focus is on this week’s SWAC Championship Game.”

It comes as no surprise that he’s receiving offers and in the mix for higher-level jobs as he’s guided Jackson State to a 22–2 overall record its past two seasons with much success as a recruiter.
