4-star Miami CB Christopher Henderson chooses Gators over Hurricanes

The Gators successfully went into Miami and out-dueled the Hurricanes for 4-star CB Christopher Henderson.

Henderson, who measures 6-foot-1, 175 pounds, is rated the No. 15 cornerback, No. 24 Florida prospect and No. 135 overall recruit. He had 26 offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee.
Landing Henderson became especially important for Jim McElwain and his staff after 4-star CB Elijah Blades decommitted from the Gators late in the process. The Gators are losing starting cornerbacks Teez Tabor and Quincy Wilson to early entry into the NFL Draft, but could call on Henderson and fellow 4-star signees Brad Stewart and Marco Wilson, Quincy’s younger brother, this fall.
