Anthony Richardson injury update: Gators QB goes down against LSU

Anthony Richardson was having himself a second half against LSU on Saturday afternoon in Baton Rouge.

After replacing a struggling Emory Jones, Richardson had thrown for 2 touchdowns and ran for another to bring Florida back and tie it at 35-35. LSU then went on to score and take a 42-35 lead.

That’s when Richardson suffered an injury. As you can see below, it appeared to be a left arm/wrist/hand injury:

That’s obviously devastating for the Gators in this game, as Richardson was playing like a superstar after a first-half interception.

We’ll see how serious the injury is in the coming hours, most likely.
