Florida’s blowout victory against Kentucky came with one cause for concern when it was learned that star receiver suffered a quadriceps injury during the game.

In his Monday press conference, Jim McElwain expressed some concern about Callaway, who had a career-high 129 receiving yards against Kentucky, including a 78-yard touchdown catch.

McElwain might have been worrying a little prematurely, however, as Callaway was in pads and practicing for the Gators on Tuesday.

The sophomore looked to be less than 100 percent, but his return to practice is still a good sign. Even if he is ready to go, the Gators may exercise caution and hold him out against North Texas to get him rested for their showdown at Tennessee in a couple of weeks.
