Even with National Signing Day taking place this past Wednesday, a number of prospects for the class of 2022 are still coming to a conclusion on where to begin their college careers. One of those prospects is a Florida target, and he has set a decision date.

The player is Arlis Boardingham, a 3-star athlete out of Van Nuys, California. According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Boardingham is the No. 31 ATH nationally and No. 36 player out of California for 2022. He announced his top 2 schools were Oregon and Florida late in January, and he’s now getting ready to announce his final decision.

According to Blake Alderman with 247 Sports, Boardingham’s mother – Kim Boardingham – has set Arlis’ announcement for this coming Wednesday:

“Arlis has made his a decision regarding college He will announce it this Wednesday at 3:30 Birmingham High School,” she told Swamp247.

Arlis confirmed that report with an announcement on his Twitter page Saturday evening:

As things currently stand, Billy Napier’s first recruiting class as head coach of the Gators ranks No. 19 nationally and No. 9 in the SEC. Though things could be worse, there is certainly room for improvement and the addition of Boardingham would be nice to wrap up the class.
